How to check Islamabad E-challans Step by Step guide

Step 1: Open the E-Challan Portal

• Open your web browser.
• Go to https://traffic.islamabadpolice.gov.pk/Echallan.
• You will see the Islamabad Traffic Police E-Challan page.

Step 2: Select the Search Type

• The portal usually allows checking by:
  1. Vehicle Number (for checking challans issued to your vehicle)
  2. CNIC (for challans issued against your ID)
• Choose the appropriate option by clicking on the radio button or dropdown.

Step 3: Enter the Required Information

• If you selected Vehicle Number:
  • Enter your vehicle number correctly (e.g., ICT-1234).
• If you selected CNIC:
  • Enter your CNIC without dashes (e.g., 4210112345678).

Step 4: Fill the CAPTCHA

• Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen to verify you are not a robot.
• Make sure it matches exactly as shown.

Step 5: Click on “Search” or “Check”

• After entering the details and captcha, click the Search button.
• The system will process your request.

• If any challans exist, they will be displayed in a table format with details such as:

  • Status (Paid/Unpaid)
• If no challans are found, it will show a message like “No records found”.
